We see coaches deployed in a wide variety of settings and, as such, coaches are supervised by a wide range of positions…and not everyone who is overseeing the coaches understands fully the unique nature of the role. In many cases, we see Peer Supervision models as an attempt that does not truly align with the recovery coaching model.

Based on the concept of “coaching coaches”, this workshop will provide participants with an understanding of how to best support coaches day-to-day and develop coaches for long-term success.

Below we have answered some common questions to help you decide if this programme is right for you:
When does the course start?
NO course date has been determined yet. Please check back or sign up for our waitlist to be notified of our upcoming course dates!
How long does it take to complete this programme?
This programme includes approximately 4 hours of Prework, 2 days of 4 hour LIVE sessions (8 hours in total) of live group sessions and your evaluation submission. You could have this programme completed in under a week!
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes! When you click to checkout you can select the 3x split monthly payment option.
Is this course certified?
YES! All our training courses are CCAR (Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery) certified. We are currently in the process of getting our courses CPD certified too. We are the first and only organisation to be CCAR and CPD certified in the UK.
What do I need before joining this course?
There are no prerequisites to joining our training programmes. All you need is a passion and interest in Recovery Coaching! The course content is aimed at giving an understanding of Recovery Coach supervision in professional settings- so working in a professional setting would be beneficial to taking this course.
When will I receive my training manual?
We will order your training manuals 2 weeks before the course date. This means you can prepare yourself for the sessions and complete your Prework. If you don't receive your manual 1 week before your course date please let us know and we will make sure to get one to you!
How do the LIVE sessions work?
All of our LIVE sessions are held via Zoom. On the first day of training we will be live half an hour before the session time (feel free to drop in and test your Zoom!) During the session there is LIVE training, breakout rooms with your peers and discussions. We make sure to keep our training interactive, with breaks to allow you to get a drink, use the restroom, etc..
I can't make one of the training dates. What should I do?
If you can't make a training date for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible at support@recoverycoachacademy.co.uk. We will do our best to ensure you get your live training to complete your course.
